I have had the pleasure of teaching Chen-Yen Wang (Janet) English composition in preparation for her IELTS test. As a keen student she working diligently, spending many hours drafting and editing her work and always coming to class prepared.
She learnt quickly how to structure her essays well, what the markers expected to achieve the high grades necessary to get into her translation course and developed her complex sentence construction. As English is her second language these skills can sometimes be difficult to master, however, she proved equal to the task.
